I am a PhD student in the Computer Science Department at Boston University. I work with Prof. Mark Crovella and Prof. Evimaria Terzi.
I am mainly interested in designing algorithms for large-scale data-driven problems. My work
focuses on problems that arise in analyzing social and biological networks.
In my research I exploit tools from various areas including Optimization, Statistical Inference, Machine Learning,
and Spectral Graph Theory.
Before joining BU, I was a research assistant at the Fraunhofer institute, where I worked with Prof. Thomas Gärtner.
I received a M.Sc. in computer science from university of Bonn. I completed my Master's thesis under the supervision of Prof. Christian Bauckhage.
