Hi my name is Mikhail Breslav and I am currently a 3rd year PhD Candidate in the Computer Science Department at Boston University. I am a member of the Image and Video Computing group where I work under the supervision of my advisor Dr. Margrit Betke.

My broad research interests are in Computer Vision and Machine Learning. Specific topics that I am interested in include 3D pose estimation, data-association, and 2D shape analysis.

Prior to starting the PhD program at Boston University I was a student at The Pennsylvania State University - University Park (located in State College, PA). There I majored in Electrical Engineering and earned both a B.S and M.S degree. As a Master's student I had the pleasure of being a member of the Multi Dimensional Image Processing Lab, where I worked under the supervision of Dr. William Higgins.

During the course of my education I have gained industry experience through internships at: MIT Lincoln Laboratory, Lockheed Martin, C-COR (now ARRIS), and RFL Electronics.
