I am a fourth year PhD student at the Department of Computer Science at Boston University. I am a member of the Data Management Lab, advised by Evimaria Terzi and George Kollios.

My research focuses on Graph Mining, Machine Learning, and Database Security. I am also interested in Big Data and Computational Biology.

Before joining Boston University, I received my B.Sc. in Computer Science from Athens University of Economics and Business, Greece, where I was advised by Professors Ioannis Kontoyiannis and Petros Dellaportas. My undergraduate thesis was on "An extention to context tree weighting algorithms to problems involving categorical data and their relationship with Bayesian model selection".

During the summer of 2008, I was a research intern at the Computational Biomedicine Lab of Houston University, under the supervision of Professor Ioannis Kakadiaris.

You can find my resume here.
