Some photos:

Combo.

Lulu and Dead Mouse Number Two Hundred And Sixty Six.

Taken at a high shutter speed to freeze the motion of the cat fight.

Jasper is undercover.

Mulligun - a Husky mutt.

Fifi - a Newfoundland.

Koko - a Newfoundland too.

A photo of Mulligun, my sister, Koko, and my mother taken after adjusting the white balance for the gloomy weather.

An attempt on macro photography of Passion Flower (Passiflora caerulea) that should really be taken with close-up gadgets but did not due to limited "production budget".

Squirrel and my lunch.

Equipments that I own:

This composes "photography at its minimal".

Canon Digital Rebel XT 8MP Digital SLR Camera
This is my first camera ever, and it was the cheapest Digital SLR I could find on the market. They call it a "prosumer" camera because of its high performance and ease of use. It yields superb results even if you used the fully automatic mode. Much faster image processing than regular digital cameras. And of course, like any other SLR cameras, its "creative modes" provide high-end control over ISO, aperture, metering mode, etc settings.

Canon Wireless Remote Control
Set the camera on a tripod, then use it like a remote control to your car. Perfect to take pictures when you want to include yourself in them. Tripod is a must, especially at low light condition, if your hands shake as bad as mine.

Canon PL-C 58mm Circular Polarizer
A polarizing filter makes the pictures more vibrant and removes reflection from water/glass surfaces. There are cheaper ones out there (plastic and/or linear), but this one from Cannon definitely worths the money in long run for its durability and quality.

Equipments that I wish to own...

when I get a real job.
P.S. This list is not exhaustive.

Canon Speedlite 430EX Flash
A 300 dollars light source that syncronizes with your camera! Illuminate your subject under any conditions!

Canon EF 100-300mm f/4.5-5.6 USM Telephoto Zoom Lens
Using long and expensive lenses, you can take pictures of small birds or spy on your neighbors.
