Painter and poet at a table
One in smock, hair in kerchief
Sleeves rolled up, tied round at waist
Speckles everywhere
Face clean, angel serene, dreams between
Two as she is, pad in hand, heart can't land
Enraptured in vision, captured by indecision, feelings collision
Watching steam rise, followed to her eyes, beauty in the mist
Back down to earth but the waters rise
She drinks of zen, lips take in lush contentment
She sighs, she swoons
