Notes:

1. The goal of the lab portion of the class is to provide you with the opportunity to put into practice the software engineering skills and practices presented in lecture. The labs will be paced so that we will be able to have demonstrations of completed games at the last class of the term.

2. Records of lab work must be maintained in a 3-ring binder along with the lab exercise handouts. Periodically I will review and grade your lab notebooks. I will also periodically meet with each of you, either individually, with you and your lab partner, or with your group and another group.

3. Let me know via email prior to the start of class if you will not be attending lecture and/or lab. If you are absent, it is important that you make up the lab work outside of class as soon as possible since the lab exercises build upon each other.

4. Each student earns an individual grade for the lab portion of the course. You probably will not earn the same grade as your lab partner. Grades will be determined from both your lab notebook and from the knowledge and understanding you express in meetings with me.
