     Tools Developed @ UMass Amherst

Karim developed NVT as part of his undergraduate honors thesis and research work at the Multimedia Networking and Internet Lab, under the supervision of Professor Lixin Gao. NVT is a network visualization tool implemented to allow network operators to visualize and dissect BGP routing information, Autonomous System (AS) relationships, AS connectivity and internet hierarchy, among other things. NVT became part of the Customized Internet Mapping and Picturing project (CIMAP) at UMass Amherst.
     Miscellaneous

His brother Marwan Mattar, currently pursuing his PhD at UMass Amherst.
