About me

Hi! My name is Konstantinos Sotiropoulos. I am a PhD student at the Computer Science Department of Boston University, advised by Professor Babis Tsourakakis and also mentored by Professor John Byers. Previously, I was a Research Assistant at the NETMODe lab of Athens Polytechnic (NTUA), under the supervision of Professor Symeon Papavassiliou. At NTUA, I also got my diploma in engineering from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering

5/16/2022: Succesfully passed my PhD proposal exam.

9/28/2021: Our paper "On the Power of Edge Independent Graph Models" has been accepted at NeurIPS 2021.

5/17/2021: Started my summer internship at Microsoft.

5/16/2021: Our paper "Triangle-aware Spectral Sparsifiers and Community Detection" has been accepted at KDD 2021.

5/8/2021: Our paper "DeepWalking Backwards: From Embeddings Back to Graphs" has been accepted at ICML 2021.

5/7/2021: Grateful to receive a Research Excellence award from the BU CS department.
