Larissa Spinelli
PhD Student



Larissa is a graduate student at Boston University in computer science, advised by Mark Crovella. In the last years she have been working in Data Science investigating the effects of recommender systems in the user opinions. Her research interest are in data science and computer network including topics such as data mining, big data, recommender systems, opinion formation, network measurements and complex networks. Larissa received her bachelor in computer science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN - Brazil) in February 2009 and her masters in system engineering and computer science from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (COPPE/UFRJ - Brazil) in August 2011.
