• Master's project: "Remembering the congestion window size over several TCP connections".  One way to improve the performances of Web communications is to slightly adapt TCP to HTTP specificities.  Research and implementation under Linux 2.0, modifying the internal TCP code and recompiling the kernel.  Design and implementation of measurement tools in C for performance evaluation.  See project report on my homepage (1997).
  
  
• Development of an Ethernet frame analyzer as a Maîtrise degree project, detailing the ISO model levels involved: Data Link layer, Network layer, Transport layer and Application layer.  Implementation in C for DOS.  Also tested with AIX (1995).
  
  
• Design, implementation and documentation of a BBS software marketed in 1989.  Implementation in GFA for AmigaDOS.  Full support of the Videotex standard for the French Minitel terminal.
  
  
• Design of an X.25 server software based on the above BBS software for the French net (Teletel).  Local Email, chat line, internal newsgroups, etc. Prototype in C for DOS.
  
  
  

• Three-month internship project in 1996 launching a new 300 PC network at the leading French law firm Bureau Francis Lefebvre.
  
  
• Ten-week internship project in 1993 at RMH Système & Communication (France): developing a serial communication software library for DOS and writing a ZMODEM program (language: C).
  
  
  

• Native French speaker, fluent English, working knowledge in Spanish.
