Personal Information
I am a PhD student in the Web and InterNetworking Group at Computer Science Department, Boston University. My advisor is Prof. John Byers. Before coming to Boston, I received my Bachelor and Master in computer science, both from Computer Science Department at Peking University, China.
Research Projects
Generally, my research involves modeling and data analysis work that combines economic principles and network problems.
Current: eXpressive Internet Architecture (XIA). Specifically, I work with Core Network Protocol Group and Policy Group. Currently I work on economic incentives for ISPs' optimal content placement in a global content service network.
Past: (at BU) Network topology generation incorporating economic principles. I modeled and implemented network topology generators based on optimization problems at the AS level and router level.
(at PKU) Peer-to-peer systems: peer-to-peer routing mechanism in Yanxing system.
