Short Bio

I was born in Belém, Brazil, where I grew up. For high school, I moved to Massachusetts for boarding school, and completed my four years there. At BU, I'm doing a double major, in behavioral biology and psychology.

Activities and Interests

Dance Photography Reading
Dance is a performing art form focused on body movement. There are several categories of dance, such as ballet, modern, contemporary, hip hop, jazz, ballroom, and tap, among many others. It involves much practice and often, several performances. I started dancing (ballet) when I was 3 years old and continued until I was about 18. In high school, I was part of the dance company at my school. Unfortunately, I did not continue dance in college, but still take classes once in a while.

Photography is a visual art, using a camera or film to create an image. I became interested in photography through my grandfather; photography has been his hobby for over 50 years. Although I have not been part of any groups or organizatins, I really enjoy taking pictures when I travel.

Travel Photography Tips

Reading is another of my favorite activities. I usually like reading mystery/suspense or crime/investigative novels. I'm also a fan of the Harry Potter book series, and Stephen King is one of my favorite authors.
I'm not a part of any book clubs currently but here are some books I recommend:
  • Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn
  • The Outsider by Stephen King
  • The Shining by Stephen King
  • In the Woods by Tana French
