My name is Asad Soomro. I'm from Westborough, Massachusetts, and I've been in and around Boston for my entire life. I'm majoring in Computer Science, but I also have a minor in Political Science, as I am very interested in global political history and the forces that have shaped our world.

Rock Climbing |
I have been rock climbing, specifically bouldering, for around two years on and off. I typically climb either at the Rock Spot in Brookline or at FitRec. I'm not very good. |

Reading |
I've always enjoyed reading. My favorite fiction genres include magical realism, sci-fi, and cosmic horror. I also enjoy reading nonfiction books, especially ones about clandestine agencies and state crimes. I borrow many books from the BU libraries. |

Cooking |
As a kid, I spent a lot of time sitting on a stool observing my mom as she cooked. As a result, I also share her enjoyment of cooking. I love cooking with my friends, and I jump at the opportunity to try a new recipe, typically one I found on one of my favorite Instagram cooking accounts. |
