Activities and Interests Image Description
Marine Biology Although I am a business major, I will forever be captivated by the life on this planet. One of my greatest interests lies within the field of marine biology and evolutionary biology. My favorite animal is the Cuttlefish (shown left), a small cephalopod related to squid and octopi. Cuttlefish have the extraordinary capability to change shape and color. While this is usually used for camouflage, some species are known to hypnotize their prey with rapid flashes of color.

Snowboarding My favorite sport is snowboarding. Although I skateboard from time to time snowboarding just hits different. I love everything about snowsports: the speed, the beautiful views, and especially the fact that a stupid decision is often met with a powdery landing, instead of broken bones.

I’ve been snowboarding since I got lessons in Vail Colorado in the 5th grade. Vail was a fantastic place to learn.

Piano My interest with the most hours put into, is definitely the piano. I’ve been playing since I was six years old and it’s my absolute favorite way to express my creativity. While I’m not as talented as I’d like to be, I have begun composing in college and I hope to continue for the rest of my life!
