I’m Ege Bozkurt, currently a sophomore at BU. I’m majoring in economics and I’m planning on double majoring in psychology. I was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey, and I have been living in Boston for the past one and a half years. Since I was a child, one of my biggest interests in life has been music. This has started with my piano lessons when I was 5 years old and have been continuing the last 14 years of my life. For the last few years, I have increased the amount of practice I have in this field and started composing my own songs as well as developing myself in a diverse group of instruments which include: the drums, the guitar, the piano, the bass guitar, the saxophone and the ukulele. Aside from my compassion towards music, one of my favorite hobbies is traveling. As my parents were really engaged in seeing new countries as well, I have been traveling all around the globe since I have known myself. I have had the chance to visit almost 20 countries in Europe & Asia, several states in the USA and a significant amount of different cities in my own country, the majority with my family and some with my school mates. I really enjoy travelling, meeting with new people and learning new cultures through these experiences.
