Steps
First, sift the matcha powder into the Chawan or traditional Matcha bowl
Then, add the hot water and use the Chasen or traditional whisk to gently but rapidly mix the powder and water.
The Chasen should not touch the bottom of the bowl. The mixing process is key to releasing the aroma and flavors of the Matcha.
