Ingredients
- 1 medium ball of mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup of pizza sauce
- artisan pizza dough
- 1 teaspoon of olive oil
- 2 teaspoons of fresh basil or oregano
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees F
- Grate fresh mozzarella cheese
- Spread out your pizza dough into a thin disc using a rolling pin
- Spread your pizza sauce down on your dough, working from the middle to the crust in a circular motion
- Spread your shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce
- Bake your pizza until crust is golden brown and cheese is even melted
- Top with fresh basil or oregano
- Enjoy!
Why I Love Pizza
Since I was younger, I've always loved eating cheese pizza. It's a simple food to make and tastes so good. Whenever I have a hot slice of cheese pizza, I'm reminded of my childhood.
