Georgina Focia

When I was growing up, I moved around the United States a lot because of my dad's job. I was born in Pennsylvania, and then moved to New Mexico where I spent all of my formative childhood years. I also had a brief two-year pit stop in San Antonio, Texas. My family is now currently residing back in Pennsylvania. My dad is an engineer, so I knew from a young age that I wanted to study something in the STEM field in college. I really love Computer Science, but I especially love Data Structures and Algorithms. In my opinion, this is the bread and butter of Computer Science and the most important content I have learned so far. I am also a TA for CS112 (Data Structures and Algorithms). I want to eventually go on to get my PhD in either Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or EECS. I am currently very interested in Autonomous Robotics.
