Your Day-by-Day 4 Day Itinerary for Punta Cana, DR!

Day 1
Morning: Chill by the Poolside
- For your first breakfast, check out Miramar! The buffet-style restaurant is the perfect way to get a glimpse into what the resort offers. Don't stuff yourself too much though, because after it's time to take a dip in the adults-only pool! Don't feel like getting fully into the water though? That's fine! There are plenty of pool chairs for you to choose from. Feel free to just lay down and take in the sun. Oh! Don't forget to order yourself a nice drink from the pool bar, or ask any of the staff nearby.
Afternoon: Lunch and Sports
- Starting to feel a bit hungry after the pool? Head over to El Coral to have some lunch. Here, you'll get a taste of sea! After, it's time to go play some sports. Before heading over to the tennis courts and golf court, make sure to pass by guess services to borrow any necessary equipment. This is all included within your stay, so make sure to have some fun!
Evening: Dinner and Friendly Competition
- First day dinner must be at Bohio Dominican Buffet. With endless options to choose from, Bohio is the perfect place to further explore Dominican food. After, it's time to go have some fun at Barceló's casino and bowling alley. Want to play poker? No issue, Barceló's got you covered. Prefer machine games? That's perfectly fine. Not in the mood for either? No worries! Play a few games of bowling by yourself, or with other visitors!
Day 2
Morning: Sips By the Pool
- Just like yesterday, we're starting our morning with a dip in the water! However, this time we're going to Barceló's family pool, located near the shopping center. Here, a bar is at the center of the pool, along with some additional activities guest can complete. Want to play some chess? Barceló's got you. Want to just lay and tan? There are plenty of lounge chairs to choose from. Want to be outside but not directly in the sun? Perfect! There are various chairs underneath the shaded huts.
Afternoon: Zip-lining over Punta Cana
- After grabbing a light lunch, it's time to get ready to go zip-lining! Put on a comfortable outfit suitable for some walking and flying! This activity does require outside transportation, so don't forget to be ready for pickup right on time! You'll be able to see a beautiful view of Punta Cana, while also getting the thrill of zip-lining.
Evening: Dinner and Dancing
- For our second night in Punta Cana, we're going to have some fun! After having a delicious Mexican dinner at Mexico Lindo, it's time to get ready to go dancing! At Barceló's, there is a club open until 2 in the morning. Get ready to hear the sounds of the Dominican Republic--bachata, dembow, and more will definitely be playing! Don't worry about getting the moves right, just feel the music and move to your body's rhythm.
Day 3
Morning: Spa Recharge
- After yesterday's eventful day (and night), it's time for you to recharge. After breakfast at El Coral, head over to Barceló's U-Spa, the perfect place to relax. Here, you can go into a sauna, steam room, or get a massage. Here's an added perk: get a day pass, and you'll be able to come in and out the spa all day. Feeling up for a challenge? Try to stay in the ice-bath for two minutes! The spa also offers light snacks and refreshments. Plus, there is an outdoor pool with plenty of lounge chairs.
Afternoon: Slipping and Sliding
- Once you're done with the spa, head over to Barceló's Pirate Ship Waterpark! This park is specifically designed for adults. Hopefully the spa has recharged you enough to take advantage of the multiple water slides located here. Not feeling recharged? No worries. There is a wave pool to relax in. After, feel free to have a light lunch at Miramar before your evening plans.
Evening: Fine Dining and Live Entertainment
- Head over to Kyoto's for a delicious Asian-fusion dinner. Don't forget to put on your best outfit! After this delicious meal, end your day with Barceló's live entertainment. The type of entertainment varies per night, with some nights having live music, while other nights, there may be a circus performance! Either way, you don't want to miss out. Try not to lose track of time though, tomorrow we have early plans! Make your best attempt to go to sleep early(ish).
Day 4
Morning: Watch the Sunrise
- For your final day, we're going to wake up bright and early! Don't worry, the view of sunrise will be fully worth it. Make sure to check what time the sun is supposed to rise the night before. Try to head out about 15 minutes before the sun rises. The best view is the dock right in front of the shopping center. Make sure to have your camera ready! After the beautiful sunrise, it's time to have your final delicious breakfast. Head over to Bonio Dominican Buffet to enjoy a buffet-style Dominican breakfast.
Afternoon: Soak in the Sun
- After breakfast, it's time to have fun! Head over to Barceló beach. You're going to embrace the waves, sand, and palm trees. Feel free to bring a speaker, or listen to the waves. Have a book you want to read? Perfect time. Want to play some volleyball? Grab a volleyball and net at guest services! Spend these last hours however you'd like to.
Evening: Souvenir Shopping and Steakhouse Dinner
- End your final day with some souvenir shopping. Need to get your parents some mugs? Your friend a bracelet? This is the perfect time to do all that shopping. In Barceló's shopping center, there are plenty of stores you can shop from! After doing some shopping, it's time to get all dressed up for a dinner at the Santa Fe Steakhouse! Make sure to put on your best outfit and enjoy a delicious meal on your final day in Punta Cana.
