My name is Li Ziyang, I come from Suzhou, a beautiful small city near Shanghai. My city is famous for its water, with a network of rivers crisscrossing the area. In ancient times, people mainly relied on boats for transportation. The city was founded 3,000 years ago during the Spring and Autumn period, when an ancient kingdom called "Wu" once thrived here. Currently, i am studying Computer Science major and Economics minor at Boston University and pursuing a career path in IT or Software Development in Banking Industry.

I am a devoted motorsport enthusiast. Since childhood, I have been watching Formula One Racing and other open-wheel racing series, as well as participating in karting events. As a "Tifosi", I have been a loyal supporter of Ferrari F1 Team since 2010. The picture is me visiting the pit lane during the 2024 Formula E Shanghai GP. |

Bank of China Internship |
In the summer of 2024, I joined the Data Innovation Lab at Bank of China Suzhou Branch as an Algorithm Engineer for four months. It was a challenging and rewarding experience, where I got my first exposure to how a mature commercial bank handles software development and cross-department communication. Together with my mentor, we completed a nationwide Anti-Money Laundering algorithm based on Java Spring MVC. The algorithm monitored risky transaction accounts and behaviors within the bank, providing early detection and warnings for potential risky transactions. |
