Activities and Interests

Snowboarding

<---- this is me after i caught an edge and decided to be one with the mountain and accepted my defeat

I picked up snowboarding about 6 years ago. I started off sking actually but I kept watching the snowboarders go by me and I kept thinking to my self "man they look cooler". the next winter I switched over to snowboarding and had to relearn it. This was quite the adventure. I have fallen on my butt and caught an edge soooooo many times. I remember the first time I was knocked down, I felt like I needed to be airlifted or something.

Hiking

<--- this was from a hike at Bear mountain about a year ago

Hiking is something I would always be down to do no matter the place. My most recent hike was at Bear Mountain in upstate New York.

Running

icecream 5k medal
<---- this is the medal I recieved after running a 5k with my siblings and friends.

I started running about a year ago. For me running is a way of staying in shape. Its the best after about 30 mins of running, when you reach something known as the runners high. If anyone wants to run with me hit me up ill be down.

Swimming

a picture of me and my teammates
<---- this is an old photo but the only photo I have. Its kinda hard to take photos while in the water.

Growing up I first touched a swimming pool around 1st or 2nd grade and shortly after I join my local swim team. from then on I did commpetitive swimmimg up until the end of high school. but it didnt end there, I began teaching and coaching kids 5-13 how to swim and basic swiming techniques. I even started teaching friends who dont know how to swim but want to learn. Swimming for me is quite relaxing, something about being in the water, its just you and noone else. if anyone knows how the pool schedule @ the fitrec works pls let me know.
