Sofía Consuelo Ford WågeClass of 2026Computer Science Major |
I was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, then lived there for ten years before moving to Panama City, Panama. I chose to study Computer Science because I enjoy puzzles and problem solving, and I admire how tech can be used to foster rural development and social inclusion.
SingingI took singing lessons from the ages of ten to eighteen, participating in a bunch of concerts. Now, at BU, I form part of an acapella group called Aural Fixation. |
ReadingI have been an avid reader since the age of thirteen and have read 178 books, according to my goodreads. I've hit a bit of a reading slump since starting university. |
Cross-stitchI first started cross-stitching as a hobby at thirteen. I made the design above this past summer as a father's day gift for my dad. |
Crossword PuzzlesI used to find crossword puzzles really challenging so I bought books to practice solving them at fourteen. When I visit my family in Florida, my uncle and I will solve the daily crossword puzzles together. |
