  • President of Indian Students' Association at the University of Alberta.
  • Coordinator of Programista, the Programming Competition at Instruo, the Annual Techno-management Festival of BESU in 2011. Programista was comprised of two separate events: sCribble where contestants had to design and code (in C) solutions for some problems within 4/5 hours, and dBug where participants needed to find some algorithmic and other types of bugs from some programs. My friend, Rahul Mitra and I had toiled enough to make the questions of these events. There were more than 300 participants in total from all over India.
  • Member of Event Management Committee at REBECA, the Annual Festival of BESU in 2011 and 2012. REBECA, being the oldest college festival in India, attracts an enormous number of people. It was a great experience to properly manage all the events, spanning over for 4 days.
  • Web and Technical Coordinator of REBECA, the Annual Festival of BESU in 2012. I took care of all the web-related areas of this event. I arranged a secured method for donating money online for the alumni of BESU, many of whom were from abroad. Also, with my mates and juniors, we developed the official website of REBECA 2012. You can have a look at the Google Analytic report of the traffic of the website.
  • Cultural Secretary of COENSOBEC, the Computer Engineers’ Society of BESU. We organised many technical seminars, technical and general quizzes and cultural ceremonies. Also, we launched our first ever own website of our society. However, the site is not maintained any more!

  • I write answers on Quora.
  • Although I don't maintain my pretty old technical blog at all, still somehow it manages to get regular traffic. Thanks to Google Bot.
  • I've started my blog about different topics inside this personal website.
• Others
  • A song, co-written by my batchmate Biswarup Bhattacharya and me, was recorded as the title-track for the annual music album of my alma-mater, BESU, in 2012. One of my best friends, Dipanjan composed the music for the song. The album, in which the song was included, is named "Anubhuti" (The Feelings).
