The Map

A map of Boston University with highlights.

The Map

This is a map of Boston University. It has been designed with research and navigation both in mind. The campus runs parallel to the Charles River, and is principally split into three separate parts: East Campus, West Campus, and South Campus. East Campus contains the most integral quintessence of the university, with the College of Arts and Sciences, the Questrom School of Business, and the CDS building. South Campus is mostly residential. West Campus holds the heart of BU's administrative functionality. No one at the BU observer likes West Campus. Harvard constitutes the secret North Campus .

Wheelock College

Wheelock College was added to Bu in 2018. Even prior to the merger, Wheelock was one of the foremost institutions wherein one could receive a degree in education. It has since moved up the rankings even further, and is recognized as a national leader in its field.

The CDS Building

The CDS (Computer and Data Sciences) building began its construction in 2018. It totaled a cost of 305 million dollars and rises 19 stories into the heavens. The CDS building Is one of the tallest in the Boston area. It is rumored that the dean of CDS elected to build it because he was denied the same position at MIT and wanted to create something that would obscure their sky.

The George-Sherman Union

The George-Sherman Union could be described as the heart and soul of student [recreational] life at BU (It's not West Campus; don't believe them!). It has a fully operational food court, a library (The Mugar Library) with over two million books, a conference hall, and several different meeting rooms. The George Sherman Union is not a particularly new addition to BU. It was added in 1963.
