CINEMA & MEDIA STUDIES MAJOR REQUIREMENTS
- Our major requires students to complete a minimum of 11 courses, which is a total of 44 credits
- 3 of those 11 courses must be taken at the advanced level, which is courses from CI 400 to CI 500
- In addition, elective courses must include courses in at least three of the following national cinemas:
Europe, Latin America, Africa,Asia Mideast and North Africa, US.

Our Major Relative Internship Program
Sydney Film Festival Programs
The Sydney Film Festival Internship Program offers students the opportunity to spend 8 weeks studying Australian film and the concentration provided by the Sydney International Film Festival (SFF), this course will examine the nature and development of Australian film in an Australasian context. Students will arrive one week before the festival opens.
Los Angeles Film and TV Programs
"Los Angeles program offers opportunities for students interested in various media experience. Students will learn about the business of the film and television industries and the balancing act between art and commerce. They gain professional experience at television and film production companies, studios and other media institutions."
Ireland Dublin Film Programs
"The Dublin Internship program offers undergraduate students the opportunity to enroll in Irish film history, Irish sociology, writing, or finance courses. As part of their program, students are also placed in internships within Irish film organizations.Classes are held on campus and students commute to their internships which are located throughout the city."
