The Las Vegas Strip's construction was first started in the 1930s. But the most influential person to build modern-day Las Vegas was casino magnate Steve Wynn. With the opening of the Bellagio, Venetian, Palazzo, Wynn, and Encore - Steve Wynn created a new image of modern-day Las Vegas. A image that consisted of high end dining, retail, spas, and nightclubs. Throughout the 2010s, Las Vegas would also see the construction of CityCenter, High Roller Ferris wheel, and the T-Mobile Arena.
