A year ago, I decided to entirely switch my career path and become a film producer. It happened after I won a financial award
from the Department of Philosophy of Boston University to make a documentary film about Russian philosophy. In my native Russia I am already
established as a descendant of a successful journalist family that has strong connections ranging from the art world,
business and filmmaking, but I am always looking for challenges, and therefore, I want to work and establish myself in t
he States or the UK. I have spent four years at the university studying political philosophy and I am confident that this
will become my source of creative ideas and inspiration for my later films.
I do not have illusions about myself and what I am
capable of. I completely understand that my exposure to the film industry is yet very limited. Therefore, I am ready to work
very hard and do anything to get the essential work experience that I need in order to succeed in this industry and become an
independent filmmaker someday.
Also, I am sure that there is a number of helpful things and qualities that I can bring to the
table at any company. Not only do I speak three languages and have lived in many places in the world, but also, I am bicultural
and able to adapt to any work and life environment. In case there is a meeting in a different part of the world,
and you need someone flexible, patient, and quick thinking, you may always count on me.
I am also authorized legally to work in the States, Europe, and Russia.
