Tiago Januario, Ph.D.

Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at Boston University since Spring 2023. Coach of BU's Competitive Programming Team since Spring 2024. Serving as the Director of Peer Education since Fall 2025.

Tiago received a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Universidade Federal de Viçosa in 2009, a master’s degree and PhD in Computer Science in 2011 and 2015 respectively. He worked at the Universidade Federal da Bahia for 8 years, from 2015 to 2022.
