The city of São Paulo is the capital of the state São Paulo in Brazil. It was named by the Jesuit missionaries who founded it on the anniversary of the conversion of St. Paul on January 25, 1554. Furthermore, it is the largest city in the southern hemisphere as well as the most populated city in the country, with over 11 million people as of 2022. São Paulo is also the largest urban economy in Latin America, and, coincidentally, where I was born and lived for 13 years of my life. It is my favorite city because of the fond memories I have of my childhood with my extended family, which I make more of every time I visit. I am planning on moving back in the near future so I can live near my family.
