Halloween is celebrated in many countries around the world on October 31st. It began as Old Hallow's eve, the night before All Saints Day, and over time the day developed into a celebration of spookiness with numerous traditions. This day marked the end of the Summer/harvest season, and the beginning of the Winter. Some Halloween traditions include trick-or-treating, dressing up in costumes, eating candy, carving pumpkins, and watching scary movies.
