After the completion of this semester, I have two semesters remaining for the completion of my Computer Science degree. I imagine that I will begin my software engineering career as a junior developer at a company fresh out of college, and flow through the junior to senior developer progression over the span of a few years.

I hope to get into the more business and management side of software engineering, as I think that I have strong interpersonal skills that can expand beyond just a specific technical specialization. I would be very happy if over the long-term course of my career I could get up to the director level. I have also found my computer systems course to be the most interesting that I have taken so far and have considered the career path to become a system architect. However, we'll see if this is still the case after I take operating systems next semester…
