  1. Temperature: Average high temperatures in the winter months (December to February) range from the mid-30s to low 40s Fahrenheit (around 2 to 6 degrees Celsius), while average low temperatures can dip into the low 20s Fahrenheit (around -5 to -6 degrees Celsius). It's not uncommon for temperatures to drop even lower, particularly during cold snaps.

  4. Wind and Coastal Influence: Being a coastal city, Boston's winter weather is also influenced by the Atlantic Ocean, which can bring coastal storms known as Nor'easters. These storms can cause heavy snow, rain, and strong winds.

It's advisable for those in Boston during winter to dress warmly, with layers, and be prepared for a range of winter weather conditions, from cold, clear days to snowy or rainy conditions.
