End Portal
Locating the Stronghold
You will need to use the Eyes of Ender you collected. Throw one of them into the air using right click and travel in the direction it goes in. If the Eye of Ender doesn't break it will fall back to the ground where you can collect it.
Continue traveling in the direction that the Eye of Ender traveled from the spot you threw it. Keep traveling for about one minute, then pause and throw another. If the Eye of Ender similarly points you in a certain direction, repeat theses two steps.
If the Eye of Ender hovers in one spot it means that the Stronghold is underneath. Dig down safely until you begin to see stone or mossy stone bricks. This indicates that you are now at the stronghold.
There is a lot of loot to find within the Stronghold, explore the rooms to see what you can find. You will likely find a library and the End Portal.

Some things you'll want before entering the portal are:
- A bow with plenty of arrows
- A shield
- Some blocks to build with
- Food for healing
- A water bucket
- Armor and a sword (preferably diamond)
Now that you're ready, use your Eyes of Ender to fill all 12 slots surrounding the portal.
Jump in!
Defeating the Ender Dragon
Depending on where you spawn, use your resources to get to the island. If you're far away and still have an Ender Pearl, you can use that to get to the island quicker.
Stay close to the island, making sure to dodge any swooping attacks from the Ender Dragon.
The End Crystals are located at the top of each pillar, these heal the Ender Dragon. Once you see a crystal healing the Ender Dragon, shoot the crystal with an arrow to destroy it.
You can attempt to fire arrows at the ender dragon, however this is difficult.
Once the Ender Dragon dives towards the portals and begins hovering you can no longer shoot arrows at it, use your sword to deal damage.
When the Ender Dragon loses all of its health it will float into the air and disintegrate.
Collect your rewards and head back to the Overworld or explore the End Cities!
Additional Tips
Bringing beds with you to The End can be a very useful strategy.
Shown here, beds explode when interacted with in The End. Just be careful to not deal damage to yourself!
